Ettiquette question from a (very) new player

Hello~

I dug through the stickies yesterday, but I didn't see anything relating to this, so please forgive me if this is a repeat question.

I've only been playing WoW for about 10 total hours now, and I've managed to get up to level 13 on my brand-spanking-new Dwarf Hunter, but in the last hour or so I've been quite frustrated.

WoW Lore: Zul'aman vs. Sunwell Plateau

So... how is Blizzard doing on Lore?

Ever since the Burning Crusade came out, the battle cry of many a disgruntled fan has been "lollore," a cry which signifies a disgust with the direction the story has taken and a belief that many of the twists have betrayed the previous feel of the world or fallen short of some expected level of quality. Now honestly, There have been some lore twists I haven't really liked. Certainly, there were ways to give us the Draenei besides besides massively retconning the back story of the Burning Legion and making Sargeras corrupt them instead of the other way around. That said, I don't really mind that the Draenei came to us on a space ship. After all, the Orcs came to us through a Stargate!

I also appreciate that Blizzard has, in the lore arena, learned where they tripped up and tried to correct it. This is very apparent to me in the differences between the Lore behind Zul'Aman and the Lore behind the Sunwell Plateau. Where Zul'Aman's lore felt lackluster and weak, the lore behind patch 2.4 keeps getting better and better.

World of Warcraft: for fun or upgrade

IMO if people are dumb like that, then that is their choice.

personally I think people need to remember that the game is for fun, and to chose activitys accordingly.

seems to me the game is changing to allow people to progress with different methods of play.

if someone enjoys raiding, woudln't it be more effective for them to progress their gear and skill through raids?

if someone, for whatever reason, can or choses to only do 5 man things, then it allows them to do THAT and progress.

which class is stronest?

Just kidding, well sort of. I do what to know what class you think is most powerful, but not in gameplay: in the lore. In gameplay, I know there's lots of debates, but I haven't heard this debate so far as the story goes.

So here's the question: in terms of potential power, which class do you think has the potential to be the strongest.

Now, right off-hand, unless someone makes a great argument, I'm going to have to discount warriors, rogues, and hunters. Now, I know in gameplay these classes are very good, but even the most finely tuned warrior is still just a physical form. Does that really compare to the sheer supernatural power of mage?

why do you raid in World of Warcraft?

Well, in Pre-TBC, you raided for the best gear, Mostly because pvp was hard to get good items. So now, we have it so there is specific gear for pvp and pve. Now I have a question.

Why raid? I'm just curious, I mean people raid for gear right? Some raid for fun like me sometimes, but they are happy when good gear for them drops. So, this gear is useless (almost) for pvp, since you will get owned by people in pvp gear (Gladiators+, Vindicators + Veterans). So why raid?

Who are playing World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft has developed an enormous following since its release in November 2004. It has built upon its initial success to become an enduring and hugely popular title. The demand for the game has been stronger than its creators might have expected, and it is now a fully-fledged social phenomenon, attracting all kinds of people to its world.

Why are wow power leveling prices so low? are they crazy?

One of wow players told us:"A friend of mine payed the equivalent of 218 USD for the leveling of a Rogue. And since that will be his fourth level 70, I kinda understand why he couldn't be bothered to level it himself. I'm not sure if he's 70 yet, but he hit 60 a couple of days back and has been 'in the works' for about two weeks".

pay for wow power leveling?

More and more companies are engaged in World Of Warcraft power leveling and more and more players choose leveling service. Why do you play in World Of Warcraft? Do you level it yourself? How do you like power leveling service?

The wow forums have 92 pages

The wow forums have 92 pages (as of yesterday) of complaints and replies and suggestions regarding the degradation of FPS since patch 2.1.

A blue post in the forums has admitted that Blizz changed the graphical rendering in patch 2.1. Minor patches since then have tried to address only a small portion of the problems that have been reported.

I have seen a significant degradation in my performance since the patch and it is continually getting worse to the point where I can no longer do some instances or go to some cities during peak times.
