ok so the story is this...
We faced this team and we lost and got a -8 rating then we went up against them again and we killed the warlock however i was left with 2hp and 0 mana and the shaman just whacked at me...
So mitchell tries to kill the shaman, no go...he has 11k health unbuffed + very potent heals
So it came down to a battle of survivability...
How did it all end? Well mitchell used his Water Elemental (10th time or so) And got a shatter combo crit and then a focus proc off his mystical skyfire gem so that + a CS did the job and it only took a whopping 38 mins!

We had a 36 min game once.
Mage + Holy Priest (My team)
vs
Resto druid + Rouge
Rogue and I died at the same time. Then I went and made some food, came back, still wasn't over. So I did some other stuff, finally an end came when the resto druid was low, ran to heal, and the priest got a res off on me.

The thing about that 10 hour match...I find it VERY hard to believe that not once the shammy couldn't get OOC and rez his teammate.

Huh?
The druid could have ressed his warlock team mate, even when the druid is in combat. Would have made for a much shorter game...
10 hours is just stupid, I'm guessing a lan of 4 people tried all day to get in the same arena.

When Zyncotl said the druid wouldn't even need to get OOC to rez, you said "becuase he can't", can't get out of combat or can you not rez in Arena? Duids don't have to be OOC to rez...
I don't know if you can rez in arena or not, never tried it and really don't have a need to do so. Even if I could it would be pointless to rez them. They would be one shotted once they rezzed up. And I don't Arena 24/7... so sue me if I didn't know. My life doesn't revolve around this game. Darn, I guess I'm a nub, oh noes!

@Jiga:
You cannot use spells that have long cooldowns in arena. Since the drood brez is on a 30 minute cooldown, it is unusable. The shammy's rez is an instant cooldown, so he can use it. However, the shammy cannot self-rez since that has an hour cooldown.

Ya, I knew you couldn't use some cooldowns but I wasn't sure what it was limited to/by. I cannot use my LOH, I should be able to use my rez but it would be worthless due to A. Can't use in combat and B. Rez only for 10% they would just get one-shotted once they rezzed.
Never played a Druid or Shaman so I don't know about their cooldowns.
Only characters I have are 70 BE Pally, 62 Tauren Hunter, 62 Human Warlock, 60 Dwarf Hunter, and 42 Orc Warrior.
Chaud, not everyone knows every single aspect of this game. If there is something I pointed out wrong or I don't know about simply inform me/us... pretty simple concept.

funny because after 70 lvls as a drooid i only found this out a week ago. helps that i have NEVER entered a single arena.
you are like the nubs on the forums who cry for buffs to their class because their class is bad at 2v2 arena or 5v5...forgetting about the other 95% of the game.
